Tomorrow’s Times is Reason’s blog. Reason is a University of Michigan and Northwestern University student startup that is looking to reinvent journalism and political action with its new social news website. We are combining three key pillars: user-generated articles and comments, background educational information, and tools and information that empower our readers to engage in the political sphere on issues important to them, from international to local. The site brings together the best articles on the web so readers can read and discuss what interests them. The site promotes meaningful discussion of controversial news topics across partisan lines. The background educational section collects basic facts about news topics for users who don’t know much about an issue so they can better discuss. The action section allows users to track developments on the issues important to them and get engaged right on the site.
